Black Phantom

These are some sketches and basic animations of Black Phantom. He is one of the main characters of the Alien Power universe. He represents the power of the Death so his costumes, armours and environments evoke bones, ruins and other ancient things. Essentially, he is an immaterial spirit that lives into a inert body but he can change his armour or even move freely. The Enchanted House is his home.

I have drawn Black Phantom in different ways, but certain features are invariable: the heavy armour with evocations of  bones,  the cloak that gives him grandeur, a kind of medieval plumed helmet only filled by a light and a battle long sword. The colours are also a invariant: purple for the clothes, bone, dark grey and metals for the armour. In older versions he had claws instead of hands.
